Talks and presentations at the first plenary will concern various aspects of establishing standards for museum object description. There will be a round table and discussion groups on the strategy for building the Russian Cultural Heritage Network and for establishing network relations between its members, with a focus on possible ways of cooperation and coordination of effort between ADIT, the Ministry of Culture of Russia and Open society Institute (George Soros Foundation) aimed at creating museum computer resources and enabling public access to them. |
